The Letterman's finally take a much needed vacation!

So we're back to reality . . . . kinda sad, to bad we aren't independantly wealthy and could spend all our time traveling, every poor mans dream!

I'm happy to report that Abby was about as good as a 4 year old gets at such places. I expected her to whine about tired legs or ask for every trinket she saw but thankfully she was so into the rides she only complained a few times and made comments like hmm maybe I could get that.

Disneyland captivated her little brain and she ran happily from one ride to the other and was always on the look out for rides mom could ride (I hate roller coasters or anything that goes in circles, major motion sickness) So she got to go on alot of rides with Dad and since she's so tall there were only a few rides she was too short to ride on. A tip for anyone thinking of going. Go early in the week. We hit Disneyland on Tuesday-Friday and by Friday lines were so much longer, we could definetly see a difference in the amount of people.

I think we'll try to start making it a tradition. It was so much fun and really is a magical place! 4 days at Disneyland was perfect too cause we never felt rushed to get it all in, it made it all that much better. Thanks Janene and Chris for buying our park tickets (this definetly made this trip much more possible)

Chris and Janene (Grandma and Grandpa) came down on Thursday and Abby got spoiled by having their undivided attention since no other grandkids were there. Grandma was thrilled that her little Abby wanted to ride all the fast rides with her. Richie and Ashley also came down and Ashley had a new buddy with Abby always hunting down her hand to hold as we walked.

To demonstrate how good Abby really was, one night I pulled off Abby's shoes and she had about 3 blisters on her feet, she'd never mentioned once that her feet hurt! Our stroller did get swiped, luckily it was a $10 buck stroller and our last day there, but come on ya gotta be hard up to steal a person's stroller.

Sophie was a dream, we mainly carried her around on our chests and she was in heaven.

Abby's boredom in the car lead to many ingenious ideas with little sis . .

lets go lets go

I went to SeaWorld when I was about 8 and remember it as being more fun then Disneyland. Seeing the trainers interact with the animals definetly made me wish I'd chosen a different profession. It wasn't quite what we expected but the shows were awesome and Rob and I decided it's definetly a place you could spend just a day at and not miss a thing.

Oh and the other highlight of the trip was In and Out Burger (our fav) we ate there 5 times I think, yum!!
