Oh What Do You Do in the Summer time?

Admiring the tulips in the backyard
Sophie loves to pile things on top of herself??

Caught red handed, think the older sister helped her get into this mess.

Posing Sophie

We went to the Zoo last Wednesday with Rachel and Charlotte. Was kinda a cold day but was nice to walk around, catch up and let the girls play.

Sophie loves to play with the couch cushions. Can't get her to take naps although she'll usually fall asleep in the middle of play.

Look at those leg rolls. Maggie loves being outside!

We love the backyard swing set. A sweet sister in our last ward gave it to us for FREE last year and I can't count the amount of hours the girls spend on this thing!! I think we're the 3rd family that's owned it! Proof that it pays to use it up and wear it out!

Summer time is almost here, Abby will be done with school on the 27th and sun tanning will begin full force at our house (the girls love being in their swim suits).

I have to admit I'm really excited about not dragging myself out of bed in the a.m. for carpool. I can just let my body slowly get going . . . one of the things this prego body is definitely looking forward to!

Plus I'm learning how to relish the moments I do have with my girls. In a few short months number 4 will be here and my time will be divided even more. I've been reading some great books lately about enjoying motherhood and they are helping to remind me of the importance this calling has. Each of my girls is a beautiful daughter of God and as their mom I get to help figure out the puzzle that is them and remind them of their divine worth. What a challenging difficult task. More then anything these books are reminding me that I have the Gospel so as a parent I have an advantage and need to rely on my Father in Heaven more since these are His children and he knows exactly what they need. If anyone wants to know what books I'm reading let me know, I'd love to share! Both are written by the Eyre's.

Janae!!! I am HOOKED on the Eyre books. I have read two of their books, on #3 now. Holy smokes those people are with it. They are incredible and so inspiring. Truly makes you realize how precious motherhood really is.

Looks like the kids have a blast outside. We are working on getting something done at our house so the kids have somewhere to play besides in dirt and rocks. Ya sorry we missed ya when we went to the zoo. Heard you had gone already what a bummer! Still the zoo is a blast so glad you guys still went. THose books sound great, need some titles and such, I love a good book!!

I love that your girls love the outdoors! They are adorable. I can't wait for my kids to be out of school too. Don't you love FREE stuff! It's the best!!! The swing looks like fun. I'll have to get the book titles from you.
