MICE!!!

So we have a major mouse problem here at our lovely abode. So far we've been doing glue traps, snap traps and having luck on and off. It's freaking me out-so far they aren't in my kitchen mainly contained in our downstairs food storage area. Any tips?? Ideas to catch these disgusting things. A cat will ultimately be our last resort since Abby is allergic and we just hate the dang things-but the question is do we hate them more then mice??
The other day Robby walked downstairs where Sophie was watching a movie and she said "Dad there was a mouse on my pillow" we weren't sure what to think until we sat watching TV tonight and one ran right under Rob's legs! Makes me sick to think little Sophie was face to face with a mouse, uck!

just keep doing the snap traps, don't d-con them. Peanut butter works well for bait. Good luck!

Brandon's fam put moth balls around outside of their house to get rid of theirs. Supposably mice hate them and stay away. Don't know a lot of details but I guess it works. Let me know if interested and I will get more info.

OH NO! Yes, that would not be fun. I think I would hate mice more than cockroaches and I've had two crawl on me in my bed at separate times when we lived in Memphis--cockroaches I mean. And the thought of a little furry animal scurrying by....yuck! Good luck with that! And my sister told me that she is in your ward!!! How fun! Oh, and yes, like you and Gloriela, I don't like cats either!

Oh Janae, I am SO SORRY!! I cannot stand mice, ew ew ew. And poor Sophie!

We had a similar situation when we moved from our Springville house. The previous owners lived there for 11 years and claimed to have never had any mice problems- which the exterminator said was a lie because there was no way they could not have known about it.

Mice droppings EVERYWHERE. He said there were holes everywhere. We caught 13 mice in two days- INSIDE the house. His advice- find the holes, plug them with steel wool (they hate it and will not go near it), catch all the mice inside the house, and hopefully your problem is solved.

It got to be too much for me- we moved to a new house 3 days after we had moved to the home we now have dubbed "the mouse house".

GOOD LUCK!!!

That would just creep me out. I would get a cat same day I seen one. But I love cats and not allergic. So sorry that you haven't found a solution that keeps them away. Arg!

I wish I had advice. We had a few in our garage, but the traps worked. I'm so sorry. Those are daring mice. It makes me cringe to think about them on your girls pillows. Good luck!

And what is wrong with D-CON! It has worked for years in the old family home. Forget the cat! You can get it under control. And yes, cockroaches are worse
