While they were off baking in the sun and enjoying all things H2O. Mom and Sophie enjoyed being pampered by Grandma and Grandpa Linde. I've become quite the vacation snob and really had no desire to sit in the 110 degree sun. The idea of trying to keep a 21 month old cool and having her return to her home the same color of skin she left with, was too much for me to handle. I'm a firm believer in the "House Boat Only" policy whenever visiting Lake Powell. So, until we get us one of those I doubt Lake Powell will tempt me with it's sand and sun.
Abby of course had a ball. One day I was talking to her on the phone and I told her I missed her and she said "I know mom but I'll be home in a week". Living at my mom's for a few days was like a huge vacation for me. Monday morning she packed me a lunch for work and washed my clothes while I was there. Dinner was made for me each night and feelings of being taken care of filled my adult brain. I left thinking I needed to get myself a wife or at least return more often to my childhood home. Sophie really enjoyed her time with "papa and papa" (she seemed to call them both papa)
Overall I think we were all happy with our vacation time! Enjoy the pictures below of Rob and Abs.

Fun stuff. I am just a little bit concerned about the picture of Robbie in a pink swimming cap? Hmmm....I need an explanation!!
ps...did you get my message about the trailer?
I miss Lake Powell. It's been awhile since I've been there.
I love your idea about needing a wife! Funny stuff.
All though we're all sad you couldn't make it, I totally understand. We had a blast with Abby and Robby though. Glad they could make it. I'll send you guys a cd of the pics I got as soon as I can get my computer to cooperate. Can you email your address?
That's great that you got a bit of a break. I hope you are doing well.
Lake powell was a blast, I also understand about the sun and sand. Definitely a lot harder when you have more than one kid too. Missed ya though, and glad that abby and robby could come.
Ewww. I agree. I have the same motto. Unless there's a house boat, count me out. Way too hot and sandy at Powell otherwise.
