Caution: The following is my opinion only, it will most likely continue to change and morph until the election!

Just a little rant in case any of you really cared who I was leaning towards.

Also this really isn't like me I never talk about politics but man I can't get these things off my mind. I've been pretty disappointed in politics lately and the 2 we have to choose from to be our next President. But the other day Rob and I sat and watched the debate with that Reverend Rick Warren. Holy cow if you haven't seen these interviews you really need to. They really show the character and values of the two men. I love McCain's quick and to the point answers. He was decisive and convincing. Obama on the other hand ummed a lot and stalled I think to really come up with answers. Made me really think he's not sure what he does stand for.

I've really become a pro life advocate as well. Maybe it's because I am a mom and don't think any women has that right to end a babies life. Once you decide to have sex and there's that possibility of getting pregnant. I'm sorry but your body is no longer your own and you don't have the right to decide to end that babies life. I used to think well that should maybe be the woman's choice and she'll just deal with the consequences here in this world and later. But now I think that this really is a decision that we as women shouldn't be able to make that Roe v. Wade should be changed!

All the hype behind Obama is starting to get a little scary. He is being skyrocketed to super stardom. I believe it's gone to his head as well and I'm not sure what this "Change" he's talking about really is? I'd love to see an African American President but I'm worried that, that might be the only reason some are voting for him. I've always leaned to the Democratic side of things but just within the last few years I've found I'm beginning to lean the other way!

All this personal opinion being said I hope the best man gets the job and our country continues to be the amazing land of opportunity I believe it still is, go USA. (and who knows maybe next week I'll be leaning the other way?)

Oh and please watch these INTERVIEWS before you vote, really some of the most candid questions.

I totally agree with you. What does Obama stand for but himself? One thing that I am worried about is the whole socialized health care. If Obama does get elected, I hope that health care stays the same. Healthcare in England and Canada stink...why would we want to do that here? It's fun seeing your blog.
