Phrases often heard at our house

"YOU'RE OOOK!" said by Abby in a loud echoing voice to Sophie whenever she's just about ready to cry from Abby playing to rough with her

"No, she's just being quiet" said by Abby in response to me asking while driving, "Is Sophie Sleeping?"

"I'm gonna listen, I'm gonna be good!" yelled over and over again as Abby is marched off to time out. This phrase usually continues for 4 minutes as she is sitting in time out.

"Ma Ma Ma, Da Da Da" said in whispered tones with a big smile by Sophie in response to most occasions. Variation comes when she wants to be held then a frown and tears replace the smile.

"Last day" "This week?" or "Tomorrow?" asked by Abby numerous times a day as I try to help her grasp the notion of Time.

This is what life with two little girls sounds like around our house . . . most days anyway.

Cute. I love writing down what my kids say...I forget if I dont and I want to remember!!!

Oh...can we do maybe a playdate friday instead of a sleepover. Randy reminded me we were having our annual campout in the backyard friday night. He really wants to do it with izaak before school starts. I said sure, as long as I can go to my own bed after the smores!!! So, would a day play date work and Randy could pick him up when he gets off work friday?
