Sophie is on the verge of crawling. She jumps up and down on her little bum, pushing her body up which usually causes her to rest on her knees it's so cute. More often then not she gets one leg in front and the other behind like little baby splits.
I've been thinking lately that poor Sophie's little life just won't be as well documented as Abby's. First cause she is the second child and secondly Abby has a way of stealing the spotlight. So I thought I'd better post a little about her. She seems very even tempered and chill, just like her Daddy.
She's usually pretty content to sit on mom's lap and watch Abby dance and show off to her. We are starting to get comments from people like "is she always this quiet", "such a good little baby" of course she has her moments but for the most part she watches and listens and brings smiles to all our faces with her gummy grin and silly laugh.
Abby can really get her going sometimes, it's so fun to watch them interact and love one another.
Developmentally she's way behind where Abby was at this age so we love it, we actually get to have a baby for awhile.
The best part of having little Sophie in our lives is hearing Abby talk about "Our Family" I know of course we were a family before we had Sophie but something about having another little one and Abby having the opportunity to have a sibling has helped her really understand what a family is. Could life really get any better then this - Rob, me and our girls, we are blessed!
