Oh No Summer Time!

.

So I have this close line in my back yard, this is our 5th Summer in our home and the 1st time I've used it. I'm sure many of you can't believe I'd waste such a valuable resource, but it's amazing what you don't do when you work full time.

So I ran a bunch of loads this am before it got hot and now for my test run I'm hanging blankets etc out to dry, I'll try clothes if I like the outcome of this. At least it's gotta keep the inside of my house cooler.

I'm already a little nervous for this summer. My house was quite hot yesterday and today at about 1:00 I was ready to just sit down and not do anything cause it was too hot to move.

I don't function as well in the heat. I got thinking oh I can't post that I'm not excited for the summer. Everyone has been praying for warmer weather, but then I realized, it was ok cause I don't think I've ever said, I can't wait for summer to get here. Which explains why Fall is my favorite!

Oh you'll notice in the picture as well that we've got some garden boxes there along the side, in the only patch of sun we've got. So I guess you could say I'm excited for our first garden and the close line, both impossible without the heat!

Congrats on the garden boxes! You'll love having fresh veggies to eat this summer. I enjoy spending time in our garden. Besides being fun, gardening is cheaper than therapy (for me gardening is kind of therapy) So what are you gonna plant? - Randy

I have a clothes line too! On account of the humidity I bet yours are dry faster than mine. BUT STILL. We are so earth mother smug.

I've toyed with the idea of garden boxes, but I think I'll wait until we have a backyard. I hope you are doing well...missed you last week.
