Maggie sleeping not Abby, in case you thought maybe this was a baby picture of Abby, cause it totally could be.
The other day we spent the afternoon and evening with our good friends Mark and Rachel. The kids ran and played all afternoon and evening. We left about 10 and on the way home Abby tried to convince me that she doesn't really need sleep, that in fact she doesn't ever actually sleep, she just lays there with her eyes open. I mean this girl was convinced.
We put them in bed about 10:30 despite her reassurance that she really wouldn't be sleeping . . . she slept until 12 noon Saturday morning. I got really worried around 10 and checked on her to make sure she was still breathing . . . her eyes weren't open ;)!

That is so funny! I still can't believe she slept until noon though. I wish I could do that! Ha.
That girl is amazing. She has always been a good sleeper. But until noon! Cute that she thinks she sleeps with her eyes open. Thank goodness you have documented this!
She is a character. I love how kids will refuse to admit they are tired. That is some dang good sleep, I miss those days. I hope Livi loves her sleep like mikey does.
