Gingerbread Houses, Taco Soup, Nativity, Jazz and Temple Square

Gingerbread Fun!

After the family fun Rob, Abby and myself were off to see the Jazz game. Robby got free tickets from work! We had planned on taking both the girls with the idea that I could jump on tracks when Sophie was done with it all, but my folks offered to keep Sophie. We were really glad we left her, even though she had a tough time once she realized we weren't anywhere to be found. The tracks were extremely crowded and it was very cold but Abby loved every minute of it. She made friends with a cute older couple we were standing on top of. We took a quick tour around Temple Square before heading over to the game. I walked around kinda teary eyed remembering my time spent in LA. The spirit was so tangible. My time at the LA Temple was done in March of 2001 so it's been awhile since I was in "the thick" of the mission and I think I almost missed it. The focus on the gospel, you're able to keep up on the mission is impossible I think, here in the real world. What a blessing it was to serve, thanks mom and dad for making that possible.

Go Jazz
Abby looks as into it as her daddy, Ashleigh on the other hand probably felt a bit like I did!

Abby did great at the game and only started to get antsy the last 5 minutes. We went and "rescued" our now snoozing, upset 13 month old and drove home to Provo ready and excited for the Christmas season as a family.
